Terms of Service

Reel to Trip extracts places from Instagram reels you submit — by pasting a link or forwarding a reel to our Instagram account — and organises them into trips and day-by-day itineraries. The service is provided free of charge and may change over time.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Reel to Trip. There is no password-based account; access is tied to a device identifier stored in your browser and, optionally, an Instagram username you provide. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your device or identifier. Provide accurate information (for example, your own Instagram handle).

You agree not to:

• Submit reels or content you don't have the right to access or share.
• Use the service to break the law, or to infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure.
• Introduce malware, or use the service to harass, abuse or harm others.
• Misrepresent your identity or your association with any person or brand.

We may limit, suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or harms the service or other users.

Reels and their content belong to their respective creators and to Instagram. Reel to Trip is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. By submitting a reel you confirm you have the right to do so, and you grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service to you (for example, to extract places and build your trip).

The Reel to Trip name, site, software and design are our property or licensed to us, and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Place information is drawn from third-party sources and provided as-is.

Place extraction and itineraries are generated automatically and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Always confirm important details — opening hours, bookings, prices, transport, safety, and entry/visa requirements — with official sources before you rely on them. Reel to Trip is a planning aid, not a travel agent, and does not sell or book travel.

The service integrates and links to third parties (such as Instagram/Meta, mapping providers and others). Your use of those services is governed by their terms and policies, not ours, and we're not responsible for them.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reel to Trip and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service — including travel decisions made based on generated itineraries. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Reel to Trip harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your trips in the app. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or to protect the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (content, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Gurgaon, Haryana, India will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you other rights. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute informally.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide more prominent notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
